Guard inmates in penal or rehabilitative institutions in accordance with established regulations and procedures. May guard prisoners in transit between jail, courtroom, prison, or other point. What are 2 things you really like/enjoy about your job?
I love the research and writing components of my job, there is nothing more empowering than
finding that one piece which makes the case. I also enjoy the argument part of law.

What Training have you Received?

I have received primarily on the job training. I have done some independent study (both books and online) prior to sitting for the CORE exam through NFPA (National Federation of Paralegal Associations). I continue to take CLE (continuing learning education) courses to stay on top of changes in the field and to maintain my credentials.

What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t at work?

When not working, I am a wife, mother to 5+ kids (birth, step and foster), as well as an advocate for youth in State custody. I love reading and family time adventures.
