I enjoy the people I work with and the challenge of not always knowing the answer to any given problem and having to figure it out.

I started as an enthusiast, building my own systems, and began getting more specialized Microsoft and Applications training as I progressed through my career.

What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t at work?
Skiing, rugby, books, board games, and yes, computers.

What are 2 things you really like/enjoy about your job?
Our industry is changing every day. Electronic Safety and Security is a very exciting industry to be in. Card Access, Intelligent Camera Surveillance with Video Analytics, Burglar Alarm Systems that also encompass all aspects of a smart connected home. and much more. The Fire Alarm and Life Safety Industry to me is very rewarding for just that, its Life Safety. We are keeping people safe from Fires, CO, etc. We take great pride in what we do and take it very seriously

What Training have you received?
I have done a massive amount of training classes and certifications in our industry. I have been to classes all over the country. I have State and National Fire Alarm Certifications, factory trained and certified in many different Fire Alarm Systems, Card Access Systems, Security Surveillance Cameras, Video Management Software Systems, Intrusion Alarm Systems, and much more.
I am always taking webinars, attending conferences around the country specific to our organization and industry, signing up for other training courses and much more.
Because our industry is so dynamic, ensuring you’re ahead of the curve and keeping the company innovative and exciting is vital

What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t at work?
I love cross-fit – I do that approx 4-5 days / week
I have two Siberian Huskeys so being outside with them whether its hiking, bike rides,
swimming, etc – they love being outside.
Traveling is a big passion of mine. I try to do at least 1 big trip a year. Last year was
backpacking around Iceland / Norway / and England. 2018 will be exploring Colorado
and Utah with a camper van. Lastly, I would say I love being on my motorcycle in the summer time.
